Romanian prosecutors stated on Thursday they have detained divisive internet persona and former expert kick boxer Andrew Tate on suspicion of human trafficking, rape and forming an organized crime group.

Tate, Who was banned from many social media systems for misogynistic comments and hate speech, and his brother Tristan can be detained for 24 hours along Romanian suspects, prosecutors from the anti organized-crime unit stated in a statement after raiding their residences in Bucharest.

The Tate brothers had been under crook research since April.

It is alleged that “The 4 suspects … Appear to have created an organized crime institution with the reason of recruiting, housing and exploiting ladies by forcing them to create pornographic content material intended to be visible on specialized web sites for a value,” prosecutors said.

“They might have received essential sums of money.”

Prosecutors stated they had discovered six women who had been sexually exploited by way of the suspects.
