As you know . YNW Melly has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder. Cops say the rapper shot two of his friends back in October, then staged the crime scene to look like a drive-by shooting.

According to new legal docs,the State intends to seek the death penalty against Melly.

In the docs, the State says it believes it can prove beyond reasonable doubt that Melly killed his friends for financial gain, the murder was especially heinous, atrocious or cruel, and he committed homicide in a cold, calculated and premeditated manner. The State also believes Melly is a criminal gang member.

As we’ve reported … cops say YNW Melly and his friend, Cortlen Henry, shot victims Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas Jr. in the head, torso and back. Police say Melly and Henry shot up their own car to make it look like a drive-by, and then dropped the victims off at the ER, where they were pronounced dead.

Florida is one of 30 States where capital punishment is legal.

Glamour Base Entertainment approached Morale Pablo and Innanetwav with a basic idea for WATER, and from there they developed the concept together. The video comprises of a vibrant, colorful theme with Cool Prince performing and creating random little scenes in front of a number of diverse, colorful backdrops that keep changing as well as some of Johannesburg’s hottest and sexy models

We chose WATER as the second single and video from the album, seeing as we got a lot of great feedback about the song from fans and radio stations alike. (Vow Fm , Alex Fm , Metro Fm SA) etc , It’s also one of our favorite from the album.”

The song is very energetic and up-tempo which fits the vibrant, fun colors of the video. Musically the song isn’t ‘dark’, which also inspires the use of the colors and interesting compositions. The song does however feature a bit of an edge and to accompany that, they chose urban locations.

In the past Cool Prince has had quite a few storyline videos, and videos that made people engage with the concept through questions and figuring it out.  This one has less to figure out, and they opted to try convey and communicate a feeling, rather than an explicit message.

Mr. Kelly, whose real name is Robert Kelly, expressed deep emotions and pleaded to the camera in the sit-down with Gayle King, a host of “CBS This Morning,” parts of which aired on Wednesday.

“Hate me if you want to, love me if you want,” Mr. Kelly said. “But just use your common sense. How stupid would it be for me, with my crazy past and what I’ve been through — oh, right now I just think I need to be a monster, hold girls against their will, chain them up in my basement, and don’t let them eat, don’t let them out!” unless they need some shoes down the street from their uncle . Stop it !!!! Y’all quit playing !, quit playing , I did not do this stuff .

He continued, directly into the camera and growing tearful: “I didn’t do this stuff! This is not me!”

“I’m fighting for my life!” he said, using an expletive. He jumped out of his seat and became so upset that Ms. King paused the interview so he could regain his composure

Mr. Kelly, 52, was charged last month in Chicago with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse involving four women, three of whom were minors at the time. He was released from jail last week after a woman describing herself as a friend of Mr. Kelly posted a $100,000 bond.

His arrest came after a Lifetime documentary, “Surviving R. Kelly,” brought new attention to accusations that he had mistreated women and revived prosecutors’ interest in his behavior.

“Everybody says something bad about me,” Mr. Kelly said, referring to the documentary. “Nobody said nothing good. They was describing Lucifer. I’m not Lucifer. I’m a man. I make mistakes, but I’m not a devil. And by no means am I a monster.”

CBS released portions of the interview Tuesday night, and another portion will air on Thursday. During the interview, Ms. King repeatedly pressed Mr. Kelly about the many allegations against him. He gave no ground, and often fired back at his accusers.

When she asked him if he had broken any laws, he responded, “Absolutely not.”

“You can start a rumor on a guy like me or a celebrity just like that,” he said. “All you have to do is push a button on your phone and say: ‘So and so did this to me. R. Kelly did this to me.’”

When Ms. King asked Mr. Kelly if he had done anything wrong, he said: “Lots of things wrong when it come to women, that I apologize. But I apologized in those relationships at the time I was in the relationships.”

He is the only boy child and the eldest of three children. During his upbringing, Burna Boy spent most of his summer vacations in the UK. He participated in summer language immersion camps in France, Togo and Côte d’Ivoire, before moving to the UK. Between 1993 and 2002, Burna Boy attended Montessori International in Port Harcourt and Corona Secondary School in Lagos. He founded the band Def Code while at Corona and performed at the school’s 50th anniversary.

Burna Boy studied media technology from 2008 to 2009 at the University of Sussex. He also studied media communication and culture at Oxford Brookes University between 2009 and 2010. The primary objective of the SAFTAs is to honour, celebrate and promote the creativity, quality, and excellence of South African Film and Television talent and productions, and to encourage entrepreneurship and the development of new talent within the industry.

The biggest weekend of the local awards season kicked off Saturday afternoon when the first awards were handed.The star-studded event kicked off at 19:00 with the red carpet, hosted by Rorisang Thandekiso, and the main event kicked off at 20:00 in the Sun City Superbowl.

The ceremony was hosted by Pearl Modiadie and Thomas Msengana

The theme for the annual awards show was ‘Dare to Dream’ a celebration of all those who dare to dream in the industry.

Uzalo won the Best TV Soap award, The River won Best Telenovela, The River was also voted Most Popular Soap and Sivuyile Ngesi was voted Best Presenter by the public.

Khotso Nkhatho and Simon Bruinders received Lifetime Achievement Awards and Layla Swart was the recipient of the Youth Achiever Award sponsored by Ster-Kinekor.

Sew the Winter to My Skin won Best Feature film.

The upcoming documentary, “Leaving Neverland,” shows Brett, and he claims it implies Jackson molested him as a boy. As for why Barnes thinks this … Wade Robson — one of Jackson’s well-known alleged victims — claims in the doc, Barnes “replaced him.” The film then shows Michael and Brett together on tour. Thus, the insinuation.

Barnes lawyered up and threatened HBO with a lawsuit, claiming the documentary puts him in a false light and subjects him to “hatred, contempt and ridicule.” Presumably, the lawyer is saying MJ supporters will target Barnes as a result of the documentary. 

Barnes testified at Jackson’s criminal trial in 2005 — along with Macaulay Culkin — that he was never sexually abused by Jackson … and he hasn’t changed his account since. Brett also tweeted about the MJ allegations in January, calling them “lies.”

“Leaving Neverland” does include Barnes’ denial that Jackson did anything inappropriate, but only for a few seconds in writing on the screen. Brett’s camp doesn’t think that’s nearly enough to “cure such a despicable allegation.”

Barnes says he wants nothing to do with the film, does not give HBO his consent to use his image and likeness and wants all references to him axed … or else.

We’re told HBO replied to the letter, telling Barnes to pound sand. We’re told a lawsuit now looms.

Sources familiar with the non-disclosure agreement tell TMZ … Woods — who’s been on ‘KUWTK’ for years — signed to an NDA, which prohibits her from disclosing details about the lives of Kris, Kim, Khloe and the rest of the brood.

Woods posted a video Tuesday teasing her Friday appearance on Jada’s “Red Table Talk.” The show was shot late Tuesday morning. We don’t know what was said and no one’s talking. However, one source familiar with the conversation tells us Jada’s intention was “to create a healing between Jordyn and Khloe.” We’re told Jada wanted to give Jordyn a platform to tell her story.

Nevertheless … we’re told the Kardashians are pissed she’s now trying to spin her story without first apologizing to them. 

TMZ broke the story … Khloe split with Tristan Thompson last week after she found out Woods hooked up with him at an L.A. house party.

The soon-to-be parents are in the country from Feb. 23 to Feb. 26, and the aim of their visit is to highlight the “vital roles that girls’ education and youth empowerment are playing in, and shaping, modern Morocco.” They continued their tour on Sunday morning when they visited the Education For All boarding house in the town of Asni in the Atlas Mountains. The royal couple met some of the girls who stay there, giving Meghan a chance to practice her French, and the duchess was also given a henna tattoo on her hand.

The trip marks a return to business as usual for Meghan following a busy week in NYC, where the duchess had an intimate baby shower with some of her closest friends. We’re exhausted just looking at her busy schedule, especially considering she’s only a few months away from giving birth. With so much going on, we’re wondering when Meghan and Harry are going to find time to move into their new home at Frogmore Cottage before the baby comes!
