The “Hot to Go” pop star, who received two nominations this year, stepped out for her second-ever red carpet appearance at the awards show. And this year, she is somehow even more spectacular than her stunning 2025 debut.

She made waves on the red carpet when she arrived in a custom sheer Mugler gown with an invisible bodice that had the maroon fabric hanging from it. Specifically, the maroon dress draped down from faux nipples and nipple rings. It flowed out into a train behind her and showed off her black panties underneath. For red carpet interviews, she draped a matching maroon cape over her look. She also wore her long red hair in front of her breasts for a more demure angle.

Roan’s nominations this year include Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, both for her hit single, “The Subway,” which came out in late July. One of her fellow nominees in both of these categories is Sabrina Carpenter, who lost the Best New Artist race to Roan in 2025.

While Roan is not slated to perform, it was announced ahead of the ceremony that she’ll be on hand to present an award.

In the week leading up to the Grammys, she was an honoree at the music industry nonprofit We Are Moving the Needle’s 2026 Resonator Awards on Tuesday, Jan. 27. Heart’s Nancy Wilson presented Roan with the Harmonizer Award for her using her music to leverage social change.

“I kind of think that it’s just an artist’s — and anybody who has money — it’s kind of your duty to give it away,” Roan said. “I don’t really know what else there is to harmony other than giving. So, thank you for recognizing me.”

Roan has been extremely outspoken on social justice issues since the start of her career, calling out music labels during her 2025 Best New Artist acceptance speech and demanding they support their artists with livable wages and healthcare.

She made her speech in a grey Acne Studios ready-to-wear dress, paired with a yellow hennin. The singer’s acceptance speech ensemble was not her first, second, or third look of the night, but her fourth.

She walked the red carpet at the start of the night in a tulle gown featuring Degas’s famous ballerinas from Jean Paul Gaultier’s spring 2003 couture collection, and changed into a 2024 couture Thom Browne blue layered dress with shoulder pads once inside.

When it was her turn to perform, she rocked a custom Zana Bayne while singing “Pink Pony Club.”

While Roan dedicated a grid post to her 2025 Grammy nominations, she opted for a post to her Instagram Stories this year. On Nov. 7, she kept the message brief, writing: “thank you @recordingacademy.”
