As a follow-up to adidas’ decision to terminate its relationship with Kanye West’s YEEZY brand, it is reported that the Three Stripes brand will continue selling Yeezy product designs, but without the Yeezy branding.

Per Bloomberg, “Adidas management has indicated that it will start selling the products under the company’s brand at the beginning of next year,” analysts at Morgan Stanley and RBC Capital Markets told the publication.

During the breakup announcement earlier this week, adidas said it will end the production of Yeezy-branded products and stop all payments to Ye and his companies.

“After a thorough review, the company has taken the decision to terminate the partnership with Ye immediately, end production of Yeezy branded products and stop all payments to Ye and his companies. adidas will stop the adidas Yeezy business with immediate effect.”

In recent weeks, Ye made public appearances and interviews in which he spouted anti-Semitic comments and conspiracy theories, criticized Black Lives Matter, ended business relationships, and was blocked on social media platforms—leading to widespread criticism.

Amid the breakup dilemma, adidas disclosed that it owns the rights to the designs of most Yeezy shoes, including the notorious 350 models.adidas is the sole owner of all design rights to existing products as well as previous and new colorways under the partnership.

However, the Three Stripes brand has not yet made any official statement regarding selling unbranded Yeezy’s or so.

The company is set to give more information ahead of the upcoming Q3 earnings announcement on November 9, 2022.
